I used this to replace a 40 year old light fixture on my front porch.

Design is classic.

As you can see from the pictures the manufacturer took weather sealing seriously
with a nice bead of silicone around the cover.

It also has the capability of being mounted to a normal lighting electrical box
or through screws at each corner of the frame.

First step in install is to remove the 2 stainless steel screws at each side of the outer housing.
If you are using the included bracket you mount that to the electrical box.
Then wire in the wires including the earth wire to the bracket and the house electrical wiring.

1. The wires are pre-tinned and stripped, but for too short of a distance of the wires.
2. The included wire nuts are too small for house wiring to the lights wires
especially with the house wiring being 12 gauge wire.

So if you can strip your own wires back as well as find some slightly larger wire nuts
you are good to go.

Installed then you put the outer frame back on and turn the power back on (you
did turn the power off didn’t you!).

It looks quite solid and will match with many different styles of architecture.

It also puts out quite a lot of light (either daylight or bright white depending
on your philosophical bent).

In conclusion I like the light functionally and aesthetically a lot.

We installed this wall light in our basement stairwell. It’s bright and stylish. Standard installation only requires basic electrical skill but the screws are little difficult to work with. Other than that, it’s perfect.

Ordered this to replace an outdated light in our outdoor area. It’s really good quality and looks amazing. If you’re in the market for a simple, modern and BRIGHT new outdoor light then this is just the one. Installation was fairly simple and straightforward. Considering the price at the time of this review, it is a great deal. It looks elegant and gives off such a bright light. I would suggest if you have a larger outdoor space to invest in a second one, not because it’s not bright enough but because the fixture itself is a bit small so make sure to check the dimensions. Overall very happy with my order and would definitely recommend especially if you’re on a budget.

Bright White Light
It doesn’t really sit entirely flush to the wall, but I usually seal all my outdoor lights with silicone anyway so that is not an issue. This thing is bright too…like REALLY bright. Just don’t stare directly at it for too long and you will be fine!

Overall, a great modern-looking upgrade!
